The Coatings Resins & Construction Chemicals businesses of Hexion Specialty Chemicals today announced the appointment of Northspec Chemicals Corp. as their distributor in Canada representing the construction product lines including Rhodoplas latex emulsions, Rhoximat latex emulsions, Aquamac latex emulsions, Rhoximat nylon fibers, Rhodoline dry defoamers, Jaguar guar derivatives, Rhoximat aluminate powders and Rhoximat redispersible latex powders.
A global leader, Hexion's construction product business is well supported by the Rhodia's recently aquired Decorative & Construction products business giving them a both strong technical and production base in Europe. This will help to futher enhance their North American capabilities at their facilities in Carpentersville, Illionois. Hexion is also a basic producer of versatics, acrylic monomers giving sucurity of supply as well as being a low cost producer.
